In the past decade, Chinese studies have flourished and, excitingly, sinologists are at the verge of a revolution in research into different disciplines of this field. Contemporary Studies in Chinese Languages, Literature, and Culture, Vol. 1 covers a wide range of content composed of theoretical and socio-cultural studies of Chinese language(s), teaching Chinese as a second/foreign language, and literary studies, aiming at providing the reader with the latest research findings in sinology. It also serves as an affable and welcoming forum for all interested sinologists (or anyone doing Chinese studies) to exchange new ideas and discuss latest research findings.
